Send Peppol documents with Mega PDF Invoices app for Shopify
We’re excited to introduce a new feature in Mega PDF Invoices — you can now send invoices directly via the Peppol network.
What is Peppol?
Peppol (Pan-European Public Procurement Online) is an international network that allows businesses to exchange electronic documents such as invoices and credit notes in a standardized and secure way.
It is widely used across Europe and other regions for e-invoicing and ensures that documents are delivered in a compliant format between companies.
Peppol invoicing is intended for B2B transactions, so make sure your customer is a registered business with a valid Peppol ID.
Send invoices via Peppol
With this update, you can now send invoices to your customers via Peppol directly from the Mega PDF Invoices app.
Easy setup
Before sending documents, you need to configure your company details and enable the Peppol integration.
Go to "Settings ➜ E-invoicing page."

Make sure to provide:
- Company name
- Company address
- VAT number
Send invoices via Peppol
Once the setup is complete, you can proceed with sending invoices via Peppol.
Go to "Orders" and select "Send invoice to Peppol" action

On the sending page, most of the information is automatically pre-filled using your Shopify order data, including:
- Customer details
- Order items
- Prices and totals
You only need to review the information and fill in any missing required fields, such as:
- Recipient Peppol ID
- Additional company details (if needed)
Important
Please make sure all information is accurate before sending.
Mega PDF Invoices helps transmit documents via Peppol, but the responsibility for verifying and completing the data lies with the store administrator.
Credit notes support
You can also send Peppol credit notes when needed.

Just like invoices, credit notes require:
- A previously sent Peppol invoice
- Accurate document details
